Welcome
to Vitrospective. You have chosen a great time to visit! This year
marks the much anticipated and exciting launch of our product and
website. So who is Vitrospective? Vitrospective is a colloboration of
lampwork glass beads and jewellery designs by partner duo, Tom Jacka
and Jessica Jorquera. Our studio is based in the natural, gorgeous
surroundings of our acreage property in Gembrook, a small town, only one hour from the centre of Melbourne. Come visit on the Puffing Billy!
With an artistic background,
Tom’s transition from drawing to flame work has been a smooth one. His steady hand, not to mention,
meticulous attention to detail, assists him in creating a wonderful array of
beads with fine and intricate designs. Meanwhile, Jessica provides a rather more
spontaneous approach to bead making and jewellery. She enjoys creating free
form pieces with organic and unstructured forms.
Undeniably, creativity
plays a big part in our lives. We first met through playing in a band together!
When we’re not creating beads, we like to travel, play music, and work in the garden.
We share our wonderful property with three free roaming happy chickens and one very affectionate
Devon Rex, Willow.
